Ventuz Broadcast Designer
Ventuz is the design and real-time rendering solution for all on-air graphics. Ventuz has been
developed to create high-end quality real-time graphics without having to produce a single line of code.
Its template-oriented structure guarantees a high reusability value. The intelligent project management
features and networking capabilities allow working in large user groups. Ventuz represents
a revolutionary new approach to developing and rendering 2D and 3D real-time graphics of any kind.


Runtime
The Ventuz Broadcast Runtime is our stand-alone broadcast rendering application.

Ventuz 2008 Broadcast Edition includes all Features available in the Ventuz 2008 Professional Edition.
 

SDI Fill + Key outputs
Ventuz Broadcast Edition outputs standard SDI video in SD (SMPTE 259M) and HD (SMPTE 274M) in 4:2:2 and 4:2:2:4

SD PAL and NTSC, 4:3 and 16:9 (anamorph)
HD 720p, HD 1080i and 1080p (HD on all framerates: 23.98, 24.00, 25.00, 29.97, 30.00, 59.94, 60.00)

High standard keying options gives the scene designer full access to all possible key creation features such as unshaped and shaped video (pre-multiplied alpha). Simplified keying nodes cover the standard key signals used in the broadcast environment and provide easy-to-use access.

Internal / External Key
Depending on the selected video hardware, Ventuz Broadcast Edition provides four different methods of overlaying graphics:

External Key (upstream key), Fill and Key signals are routed to an external keyer or production mixer
USK1: (upstream keying) or External Key (Key + Fill)
USK2: (upstream keying) or External Key (Key + Fill pre-multiplied with Alpha, also called shaped video fill)
Internal Key (DSK, downstream key), the background video is routed through the Ventuz system and keyed downstream
DSK1: The actual keying is processed on the video hardware. Embedded audio (upto 16 channels) are bypassed. Watchdog and powerfail bypass relays available.
DSK2: The keying (or blending) is processed on the GPU this gives you full access to the actual background video for 3D-effects, DVEs, color effects and more.

Intelligent Scenes
Add logics and intelligence to scenes. Controlling scenes and templates is uncomplicated and straight-forward as dynamic scenes automatically format and adjust to the input data.
